More about me…
I’m a lifelong learner and natural explorer—always seeking out new perspectives, places, and skills. Professionally, I’ve immersed myself in instructional design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop engaging, learner-centered experiences. Personally, I love to feed my curiosity by taking career-related courses, trying out new ID tools, and catching up on a range of reality TV shows (my not-so-guilty pleasure!).
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, and while I’ll always carry that hometown pride, life took an exciting turn when I met my husband and moved to the Washington, DC area—a place that never stops buzzing. I’m still adjusting to the traffic and fast pace, but being able to walk to the grocery store is a game-changer. Despite the hustle, I always find time to stay close to family and friends; they keep me grounded and remind me what’s most important.
I value diverse perspectives and believe the best solutions emerge when people share ideas openly. In my instructional design work, I combine data-driven analysis with creative problem-solving, ensuring each project is as effective as it is visually engaging. My approach has been shaped by a broad range of experiences—from guiding first-time learners through foundational concepts to refining high-level professional development programs in corporate settings. No matter the context, I love seeing the moment when a concept finally “clicks” for someone.
Running is another passion of mine—I’ll never turn down a chance to run a fun race. For me, it’s not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about testing my limits, learning from each step, and enjoying the process along the way. That same results-driven mindset follows me into my instructional design projects: I focus on crafting experiences that are not only engaging and beautiful but measurably effective. If it doesn’t serve its purpose (like a tasteless pie or a flimsy blanket), it’s back to the drawing board until the goals are met.
Above all, I’m driven by continuous improvement—in myself, in the learning experiences I design, and in the teams I’m lucky enough to work with. Learning is an adventure I hope to continue for a lifetime, and I’d be thrilled if our paths crossed along the way.
